In this day and age of self-publishing, every writer needs an editor.  Let me be the editor you need.  Want to know about my background?  Check out my about page.  What I will do when I edit your book is:  look for typos, look for spelling errors, look for wrong word use (i.e. their instead of there), look for places where a sentence might be reworded to make it flow and read better, look for really glaring grammar errors such as missing commas or using wrong punctuation or run on sentences and such. I use the word document with tracking turned on.  As for experience, I am a business college graduate; and I worked as a legal secretary and as a bookkeeper.  These jobs were situations in which errors were just not acceptable.  Plus, I have a natural instinct for spotting errors as I read.  As an editor, I will respect your writing style; and I will edit your manuscript, but not rewrite it.
